I have decided to start a blog chronicling the road I am about to embark on.... the road to film school (fingers crossed!) I have always known that I wanted to do something involving a pen, a paper, and a story; When I decided to attend college I was under the impression that that desire to write meant I should be in Journalism, but after 3 years of classes involving the AP style of writing aka the most BORING thing in the entire world, i came to the conclusion that I belonged in the English department, and yes, I now have to stay in undergrad an extra semester, but I have never felt more situated, more in tune, and yes, more me.

The art of writing movies, and television has always been an appealing one; but it wasnt until i took a playwriting class last semester that I felt it was an attainable goal for me.
I have narrowed down my school choices to : USC, UCLA, NYU, Boston U, and Loyola Marymount (reach for the stars why dont you, lindsey) And because I am a neurotic, basket case, i have already begun the loooooong drawn out process of applying,

Check back daily to watch the less than subtle changes in my typing, attitude, and over all willingness to give up all hope of having a normal life, and any money at all... should be entertaining.
